Langkah Teman Kamu which was initiated by 4 students university, namely Muhammad Habibullah Galih Tri Aji, Alfi Bella Kurniati, Alya Nuraini and Mellani Cahyani Putri has focused on environmental and social issues. The community has a goal to provide a space for youth worldwide to collaborate in creating programs or movements to create positive shifts in society.



                On December 29, 2022 Langkah Teman Kamu was successfully held a webinar entitled “Indonesia Penghasil Sampah Makanan Organik Terbesar Kedua di Dunia. Apa Peran Kita?”.  This event was attended by dozens of participants from various regions and backgrounds such as farmers, students and lecturers. This program was created as a response to research conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit which stated that Indonesia was the second largest contributor of food waste in the world. The research said that every Indonesian contributes at least 300 kg of food waste every year. This program is expected to increase public awareness to reduce and manage food waste more wisely.



                “The appointment of Indonesia as the world's largest food waste contributor should be an alarm for us to start reducing and managing food waste more wisely. What makes it even more sad is that we get this title when the rates of malnutrition, malnutrition and stunting in Indonesian children are quite high”. Said the founder of Langkah Teman Kamu, Muhammad Habibullah Galih Tri Aji.
